Coronavirus: Suspected case of Coronavirus reported in Ondo



All over the world the trending topic is coronavirus. The pandemic has virtually shut down the entire activities of the world, ranging from sports, Government programs and recently a ban has been placed on churches and mosques with over 50 people gathering in Lagos.


Source reported  fresh suspected case of coronavirus in Akure Ondo State Capital . It is reported that the carrear identified as David came into Nigeria from Maryland United States Of America, he has since been quarantined at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Akure, the state capital.

 The Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro urged the people of Ondo state not to panic as the situation was under control. Adegbenro said as it stands their is no confirmed case, but since David arrived from United State he had to be quarantined and monitored for a few days. This is like taken precautionary measures to avoid spread if he is to be positive to the virus.


In Adegbenro words below

“We are isolating the person already and the blood sample will be taken to Lagos first ( Thursday) morning.

While we continue towait for the results let us continue to take precautionary step by washing our hands with soap or with hand sanitizers.
