National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) is a national scheme in Nigeria which qualified graduates of tertiary institutions undergo to serve their fatherland for one year. NYSC was created to promote unity among different ethnic groups in the country as graduates from different parts of Nigeria meet to serve their fatherland with all diligence.
It may interest you that NYSC is gaining recognition in the world as an American University mimicked the NYSC experience.
It was made possible as Nigerian students at the University of Arkansas organised an event on Saturday, February 1, 2020 which gave their American host the privilege to experience NYSC through a mimick presentation.
A Nigerian student simply identified as Nnamdi Ezike made this known on his twitter handle.
