Asisat Oshoala Helps Barcelona Claim First-Ever Women's Spanish Super Cup

Nigeria's senior women football team captain, Asisat Oshoala, scored a brace as Barcelona Femení defeated Real Sociedad women team 10-1 to create history and win the first-ever Women's Supercopa de España!

Oshoala had netted once during Thursday's 3-2 win over fiercest rivals, Atletico Madrid, in the semifinals match of the competition.

The four-time Women African Player of the Year award winner continued her brilliance by scoring a brace in Sunday's demolition of Real Sociedad.

Oshoala scored her first of the game in the 35th minute to take the scoreline to 4-0 in favor of Barcelona Femení. The Nigerian international netter her brace with the team's 7th goal of the game in the 51st minute.

However, Marta Torrejon went home with the match ball having netted a haul (four goals) that earned the team the first ever Super Cup title.

Other goalscorers include Alexia Putellas (x2), Caroline Graham Hansen, and Candela Andújar.

Oshoala's brace has now taken her total tally for the season to 21 goals for Barcelona Femení, making her the team's highest goal scorer.
