Veteran Actor Yemi Solade Celebrates His 60th Birthday (photos)

Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade turned 60 year old on the surface of the earth, today, 31st of January 2020.

To mark his special day, the veteran actor shared lovely of him and in all the photos, none appears that he looks like a 60 year old man as he was looking younger and agile. He however gave one the photos a caption that read thus;

Yemi solade is a native of Abeokuta in Ogun state but he was born and bred in Lagos where he had both his primary and secondary school after which he to the UK to get his A ‘ levels at the Tyhill College in Coventry although, he never got to finish.

The actor came back to Nigeria and continued his education in Oyo state college of Arts and Science, OSCAS, to prepare for university.

After his college degree, he continued in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to study Dramatic Arts after being a disco dancer for some time.

After his University education, he went into academics and he did his NYSC at the University of Maiduguri and the Ramat Polytechnic, where he taught General Studies, Communications Skills and Literature.

He later moved over to Kaduna Polytechnic and taught Literature and Communication Skills and he has three masters degree.

He did a master’s in Public Administration (ABU, Zaria), another masters in Sociology Anthropology (Leicester University, UK) and then another in International Relations (OAU, Ife).

Yemi Solade once revealed that he started his acting career during his school day after a 45 minutes monologue on stage in Ile-Ife.

He however started acting officially after he featured in a movie called ‘Ojunu’ (Insight) and several others including, Shadows, Thunderbolt, Lady in the forest, Madam dearest, Buga, Corper Kolade, Super story which is a telenovella and many more Yoruba movies.

The thespian is happily married to his wife, Hannah Solade who is a Cross Rivers half- caste woman and their union is blessed with two children, Rola and Fela Solade.
