Fire burnt Down Gbagi Market (photos)

Properties and goods worth of a million  have been destroyed in a Fire outbreak that burnt two shops to ashes with one fairly affected at Wondo Corner, Agboole Olorode, First-Gbagi, Ogunpa-market, Ibadan.

The incident occurred as a spark from high voltage of Electricity supply was said to be the cause of the fire outbreak.

A generator repairer whose shop was razed in the fire incident, Mr Lawal Tunde said he has lost properties worth #500,000 to the fire.

He appealed to the Oyo state government to come to his aide as he has nothing left to survive with in the year 2020.

An occupant of one of the affected shops, Mr. Sunday Emeka explained that his properties lost to the fire is worth #25,000.

The deputy director, Fire Service of Oyo state, Mr. Adewuyi Moshood who confirmed the incident said the Oyo fire service swung into action immediately they received the distress call and able to quench the fire before spreading to other shops.
