Kidnappers Kill Mate For Absconding With N5m



Suspected Kidnappers, 28 Best Kevwe Iweh and Emmanuel Tomson (30) allegedly killed a member of their gang, Raymond Enahon.

Iweh and Tomson were arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of the Special Response Team police intelligence (IRT) for the murder.

According to police, the suspects, on August 19, 2019, murdered Enahon for fleeing with N5 million ransom, the gang had already extorted from the family of the victim.

After fleeing with the money, Enahon bought a Lexus Jeep and lavished the rest of his many girlfriends.

IRT officers later found the remains of Enahon in a shallow grave in the Obiaruku town in Delta State. The operation was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Abba Kyari, which is the national head of the IRT units.

According to sources, Kyari and his men launched an investigation into the activities of the kidnappers following a directive from the IG, Mohammed Adamu.

He also learned that the body was exhumed after Enahon Iweh and Tomson were arrested. The suspects led the IRT team in the shallow grave to retrieve the body of Enahon.

A police source said: The fall of the gang began after operatives of the IRT, on the instruction of the IG, went to Delta State on the trail of a notorious kidnapping gang directed by Kevwe Iweh. The gang, who hails from Oria Abaraka in Delta State, was successfully stopped. It is a notorious kidnapper and terrorized Delta State. The second suspect, Emmanuel Tomson, was arrested Aug. 18

Both suspects confessed several kidnappings, including the abduction of a former head of finance in Delta State in August 2018. They also admitted to the kidnapping and murder Raymond Enahon member of their gang. Raymond bought a Lexus RS 330 N5 million ransom made from one of their kidnappings.

Raymond collected the ransom and fled. They confirmed that Raymond bought a Lexus money and spent the rest of the ransom with her girlfriends. According to the suspects, they lured somewhere Raymond and killed him. After killing Raymond, they sold the jeep for N1.8 million.

Kyari and his men, he learned, always working hard to stop the other members of the gang of fugitives.
